Filing Season Readiness Update

We’ve hit the ground running in 2021 on a variety of projects – namely PPP-1 loan forgiveness, PPP-2 loan applications, and Employee Retention Credit analysis. If you would like to learn more about what we are doing in these areas, please contact us.
In the meantime, we have extended our work hours for filing season and are ready to take on your business tax returns. We maintain a structured accounting and audit project calendar, so reach out to your Dent Moses contact if you have any questions about where your project is on that calendar.
On the business tax side, there are normal delays in electronic filing as our software provider works with various taxing authorities to finalize the 2020 forms. Nonetheless, we can proceed with our work process and be ready to e-file all returns when we get the green light to do so.
While the March 15th filing deadline is still seven weeks away, the work does tend to stack up as big deadlines near, so sooner is preferable to later from an information handoff standpoint.
Due to the pandemic, we are discouraging in-office meetings at this time, and that may persist throughout this filing season. If you need to send information electronically, please use the Dent Moses secure web portal to do so securely. If you have paper documents that are not easily converted to an electronic format, please use our secure drop box located outside the rear East Lobby building entrance. Thank you for trusting us as a value
