Equifax Breach – What To Do
We are sure you have heard about the breach at Equifax potentially affecting over 140 million people. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to check to see if your information has been compromised. Please go to the Equifax Credit Monitoring Enrollment link below and click “Begin Enrollment.”
Equifax is offering credit monitoring for a year to all consumers – even if their personal information has not been compromised. To enroll in the free credit monitoring, you will be provided an enrollment date. On or after your enrollment date, use the Equifax Credit Monitoring Enrollment link again and click “Continue Enrollment” to finish the enrollment process.
For further protection, you can also place a fraud alert with the credit reporting agencies. The Federal Trade Commission has more information on how to do this.
