Dent Moses LLP is pleased to announce that Jonathan Averette, CPA has joined the firm as a senior accountant, while Abby Mauck and Lauren Daniels join the firm as staff accountants.

Averette brings experience and specialized knowledge in the construction and real estate industries as well as multistate tax regulation. As a senior accountant at Dent Moses, he will focus on tax services.

Before joining the team at Dent Moses, he served as Financial Controller at Grayson Construction where he oversaw the accounting functions and ensured accurate financial reporting, tax, and licensing requirements as they relate to the construction industry. Prior to Grayson Construction, Averette held the title of Senior Tax Associate at RSM US, LLP where he specialized in the construction industry as well as working within the areas of real estate and employee benefit plans. Prior to that, he served as Tax Accountant at Sellers Richardson Homan & West, LLP. He earned his Master of Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture.

 

Abby Mauck joins the firm after completing an internship at Borland Benefield, P.C., where she worked on federal and state tax returns, and provided financial audit services. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Auburn University.

Lauren Daniels officially joins the Dent Moses family after completing her internship with the firm in April where she prepared business, trust, and individual tax returns. Daniels attended the University of Alabama Birmingham where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

As staff accountants, Mauck and Daniels will provide financial accounting, audit, and tax services to a variety of industries.
