Dent Moses, LLP is pleased to announce Jessica Bou Akar has been promoted to manager, effective January 1, 2018. Jessica joined the firm as an intern in January 2012 and began full time in August of that same year. In her current role, Jessica provides assurance and taxation assistance for various industries including wholesale distribution, professional services firms and not-for-profits. Jessica is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and her Masters of Accountancy. Jessica earned her CPA certification in 2014.

Jessica now calls Birmingham, Alabama home after moving here from Lebanon. In her free time, Jessica is heavily involved in her community through various Birmingham area and state organizations.
