Dent, Baker & Company, LLP of Birmingham, Alabama is pleased to announce two promotions. Chase Baker has been promoted to Manager and Matt Savela has been promoted to Senior Accountant.

Chase Baker joined the firm in 2011 and in his role is responsible for managing audits of closely held corporations and not-for-profit organizations as well as the taxation of closely held businesses and individuals. He is a graduate of Samford University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Accountancy. Chase participates in the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and he holds memberships in the business fraternities Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma.

Matthew Savela joined the firm in fall of 2013 after completing his Masters of Accountancy from Auburn University. He is a current member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Matt performs commercial audit and tax work for a variety of businesses and individuals.
